Navigate360 is a tool you can use to manage your academic life.  Through Navigate360, you can access information on tasks, appointments, holds, and classes.  You can also use Navigate360 to access campus resources such as advising, tutoring services, and the Student Success Center. You can create study buddy groups for classes and explore different majors.

Navigate360 is a free app for managing your academic experience at NMSU.

There are two ways to access Navigate360:

• Download the app on your mobile device. Click here to get the app.
• Login to MyNMSU and click on Navigate Student in the Launchpad Menu.

Close out of the Navigate360 app and relaunch.  If you continue to experience issues, please send an email to navigate@nmsu.edu describing your problem.

In the account tab of the Navigate app, you can change notification preferences under “Notification Settings”.

In the Navigate app, choose the “Appointment” tab. Select “Make an Appointment” and choose your campus and the type of appointment. Choose the service and pick a date and time to see if appointments are available. For drop-in appointments, choose “View Drop-In Times”.

Click on the “Help” tab on the left.  Appointment types vary based on campus, so you might not have access to all types of appointments on your campus.

Holds tell you that there is a flag that prevents you from registering for classes and may prevent you from receiving official transcripts and degrees.  The “Hold” tab provides contact information for you to resolve your holds. “Holds” are updated nightly in Navigate360, so check back the next day to see if it was successfully resolved.

Classes in Navigate360 update overnight, so check back the next day for updates.  If classes are not showing in a few days, please contact navigate@nmsu.edu.

Class registration is currently done through MyNMSU under the "Student" tab.

Navigate360 only displays the first major in your academic record.

From the Navigate360 app, find class directions by clicking on the “Schedule” tab.  Each class has a location listed that provides directions in the map app on your phone.

Your “Success Team” is your academic and departmental advisors.  They can help you understand how to stay on track to graduate.

Advisors are part of your success team for established students.  You can find your advisor by selecting “Resources” then the “People” tab.

There are several types of advisors, and they do not all schedule appointments through Navigate360. Please contact the specific advisor to schedule an appointment.

The “Resources” tab helps students locate buildings, programs, and services on all NMSU campuses. It also shows departmental advisors, academic advisors, instructors, and faculty for the current semester.

When you opt-in to “Study Buddies”, you can contact other students in the class who also opted in.
